Hello,
My name is Elisabeth and I'm your neighbor in the green house on the corner of 62nd Terrace. For a long time I have attempted to have a neighborhood block party. You've seen the home and garage become stashed and prepared to host each holiday. But, alas, the holiday passes without an event. Why? Well, I was too tired, too frightened to host a party, or just as I was ready, there would be an emergency back home. Well, I'm going to attempt to complete a party this Patriotic Weekend.
If you're reading this... you and whomever you wish to bring are invited. I'm not quite sure what time to begin each day, but I prefer later in the evenings when the temperatures have cooled. I'll begin decorating or preparing about 3:30 and you're welcome to join me then. I know, specific start and end times would be nice to have, but quite . frankly, I'm tired and when you see me out there.. come on over... or better yet, just ring the door bell and help drag me out of the house and "JUST GET STARTED."
There will be Food, Fun, and Face-Masks provided. The Detail page should answer any questions you have. Just click on the red detail button for more information. Basically, let's do the COVID PROTECTION RITUALS as we enjoy spacial distancing, complimentary fireworks, and snacks. Come for a long time or just wave as you're strolling by... everyone is welcome. You don't need to bring a thing, or you can bring just about anything. Celebration will go well into the evening, so if you work until 10:00pm and still want to swing by, just let me know. We'll be noshing the night away.
