Fireworks and Games

FIREWORKS AFTER DARK

FIREWORKS    Fireworks will be provided just as dusk approaches and after dark.  The fireworks I will give away are small sparklers.  They are short, and won't last long.  I considered the extra long sparklers... but I thought about it ... Somebody SOMEWHERE might become tired of holding the sparkler and set it down... and FIRE.  So for safety sake, short attention spans need shorter sparkler duration.  You can always light another sparkler.   Additionally, I"m sorry to say there will be no firecrackers, or rockets, or zooming booming things.  It is just more simple and more safe.

I will have a FIRE EXTINGUISHER on hand.  ADULT SUPERVISION is a must for the kids.  The ADULTS may pick up the sparklers and give them to their children.  The ADULTS will have access to matches, lighters, and such.  The ADULTS will be responsible for lighting the sparklers for their own children.  Again, families will be six feet apart from other families to be safe.

GAMES ON THE LAWN   The games provided have been selected to encourage the six feet apart rule during this COVID ERA.   There will be a badmiton setup on the lawn, yard dice, plastic dart throw, jumbo jenga and oversized playing cards.  There are also a few patriotic potato sacks I have ready to be used by individual families to race against each other if anyone is interested.

Use wisdom.  Families can play using the games and sharing.  However, when each family is finished, please provide me the time to  wash the items and disinfect them properly prior to another family's use.

If you choose to bring your own games, that's wonderful.  Keep them among your own family members, and just remember... we're playing together, and being united... just six feet apart.
